I got an email the other day from Francesco Catenacci, a kind internet stranger, who offered to make an Italian translation of Shoes in the Dark. I immediately said yes, and now there are Italian shoes! In the Italian dark!
It’s been a couple years since I’ve looked at this game. I cleaned up the layout a wee bit in Scribus, and changed it to pull content from a markdown file instead of just writing all the content directly into Scribus. This is good for source control, and also I uploaded the markdown files to itch.io in case anybody out there wants the plain text source.
