They then hit the road and start hiking to Beartown.
The have some adventures along the way.
First they creep by a starving dire bear.
Then Kreeve sneaks up on their camp during their first night and demands the rest of the teeth that Vito owes him so that he can continue to operate Kreeves Teefs n Squeaks.
They pull an Uno Reverse card on some geldsnail tax collectors.
They forge a lake caused by a dire beaver damming up the stream.
They meet some fauns guarding a concrete slab in the forest.
And on their last night they are approached by a fungoid. After inhaling its spores, Kore has a vision of a subterranean fungal colony fleeing a rising threat from below with the help of ... Morgan Fightmaster? The vision ends with 5 dazed looking Morgan Fightmasters stumbling into beartown.
