The Scavengers were invited to an illicit backroom frog race which they summarily won and which then went off the rails when the cute little froggies turned into giant man-eating frogstrosities, one of which swallowed whole and later regurgitated one of your fellow classmates. After neutralizing the threat, you found the same black oily liquid on the frogs that you found on the costume trunk / mimic. Together, you determined that the liquid is eldritch balm a substance collected from Sedgemoor Swamp and used to imbue everyday items with minor enchantments and enhancements.

Then it was time for the Magical Physiologies exam! Everybody studied together, and afterwards when you checked their grades, Eivas and Delvin had passed, but Saoirse and Archibald had failed.

  • Connan Goldtop (silverquill), the halfling who got swallowed by the giant frog is here. Although he has technically been given a clean bill of health, some corruption of the protective aspect of the eldritch balm has prevented some of the acid burns on his face and hands from healing. Since the attack he has been constantly wincing and whimpering, and has been quick to cry over minor inconveniences.
